Samaj Unnayon Palli Sangstha (SDRS) is a non-governmental, non political organization has been working with the disadvantaged poor people in Bangladesh since 2003. It works in early days of its inception especially for neglected and deprived women, children to raise their collective voice and human rights by uniting and organizing adequately. It desires to see a developed society where people are living with peace and tranquillity. Our trail in advancement we have started our activities through our programmes in many Districts of the country (35 districts so far).

Emerging from social commitment to develop the situation and condition of the society, SDRS has established and come close to people with special emphasis of girls’ education and women empowerment. Organization realizes that proper education and necessary practice can change the social scenario. SDRS works with those illiterate and underprivileged poor people by uniting themselves to raise their voices collectively. Organization is also being served as an additional force for sustainable development of deprived, backward, downtrodden, hardcore poor and assists to make them economically and socially viable. It has also been carrying out various development programs to assist to establish human rights, women rights, child rights; to protect and prohibit early marriage, domestic violence, polygamy, dowry; to enhance skill and capacity of development partners at the grass root level. It has been working to build a safe and secure world where man and women can work together for sustainable development at the family, society and national level.
